Jeremy Tang, the founder and CEO of Area Ten, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a rich history in consulting, specialising in business process re-engineering for marketing departments across various industries such as Finance, FMCG, Telco, and Energy. His journey began with a deep dive into the complexities of business processes, where he learned to streamline operations through technology for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Hailing from a lineage of refugees turned entrepreneurs, Jeremy’s entrepreneurial spirit was ignited early on. His innovative business ideas won him state, national, and Vice Chancellors prizes from four of Australia’s leading universities, propelling him into the Australian Technology Park incubator programme. This marked the launch of his first startup and sparked his enduring love for digital marketing, particularly SEO, over two decades ago.
Jeremy’s entrepreneurial journey is a testament to resilience and innovation. He has successfully driven seven startup businesses, six of which achieved $1 million in revenue from zero in less than 16 months, and five of which grew to multi-million dollars of revenue annually, all without any external funding. However, his journey was not without its challenges, as two of these businesses did not succeed.
In between his entrepreneurial ventures, Jeremy held senior in-house marketing roles, including as a head of search at Telstra. These experiences exposed him to the common dysfunctions between agencies and clients, which compromises the potential of the relationship. Drawing from this wealth of experience, Jeremy has applied his learnings to help businesses achieve scalable results, faster. His latest business launch in the US in 2020 hit USD$1 million in the first month and USD$3.3 million on just the 7th month of launch, with strong profits.

Jeremy is a family man, married with three children. He resides in Australia and travels with his family for 90 days each year. His travel highlights include:
- witnessing the wildebeest migration across the Mara river from Tanzania to Kenya,
- swimming with sea lions, marine iguanas, and penguins in the Galapagos,
- trekking through the dense rainforests of Uganda to see wild mountain gorillas,
- hiking through the majestic landscape of Patagonia
- observing the rituals that surround the burning ghats of Varanasi.
These experiences have not only enriched his life but also broadened his perspective, which he brings to his work and leadership at Area Ten.
